Job Summary

Reporting directly to the CEO, the TDengine VP Marketing is a pivotal role directly influencing the success of the company and will be responsible for all company marketing strategy & execution. The VP Marketing will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of TDengine’s marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing including demand generation, product marketing, developer community, social media, and analyst/public relations.

Responsibilities:

The VP Marketing will lead and manage company’s marketing function with a collaborative and inspirational leadership style and represent the company externally to influence and position the company’s brand and ensure that TDengine is competitively positioned effectively.

• Monitor market trends and analyze opportunities to drive winning strategy and tactics
• Provide executive leadership, participates in strategic planning
• Partner with sales team to build a well aligned GTM motion from top of funnel to close
• Partners with product teams to define differentiated offerings. Continuously develops, refines, and articulates value propositions and differentiated positioning
• Implement predictable, repeatable and scalable process, operations metrics & discipline
• Sets goals and metrics based on both company goals and external market opportunities
• Attracts, hires, and retains top marketing talent and builds a performance driven culture

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a marketing leadership role in a high growth technology company
• 10+ years in diversified leadership roles, driving and implementing revenue growth
• Track record of high degree of passion and energy while maintain a positive outlook
• Relevant experience in cloud service, open source and database business
• Ability to facilitate discussions, resolving conflicts, establish processes
• Superb analytical skills for data-driven insights to marketing activities
• Highest level of integrity, a strong work ethic and a high degree of professionalism
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills and interpersonal skills
• BA/BS degree in business administration or related field, MBA preferred

Salary: $350,000.00 - $600,000.00 per year
