Job Description – VTScada
Job Summary
· Act as a subject matter expert (SME) with proficiency in VTScada.
· You will function as the technical lead on a project of any scale as needed.
Essential Functions / Skills / Knowledge
· Working knowledge of SCADA software package VTSCADA
· Knowledge about VTScada Application Manager, Display building (Idea Studio), The Tag Browser and Scripting in VTScada.
· Design, Engineering, Implementation of VTScada system.
· Perform factory functional testing of programmed SCADA.
· Troubleshoot control systems, implement software and hardware solutions to resolve problems.
· Successfully executes startups of large and/or complex projects.
· Act as technical lead of a project.
· Develop error free SCADA tag databases, screens, scripting, and customer reports.
· Mentor and train other Employees/Customer on related tasks
· Programming of SCADA, configuring layouts, troubleshooting bugs and technical snag for smooth functioning.
· Analyze the performance and bring operational improvement.
· Coordination with Control Room Operator and Site Team for smooth functioning of Systems.
· Conduct SCADA Automation Software maintenance and upgrades.
· Troubleshoot, resolve, or escalate, and document customer incidents in a timely, efficient, and professional manner according to contract maintenance and warranty.
· Working knowledge on operating systems, hardware, and third-party software on client and server machines
· Knowledge of various communication protocols like Modbus TCP, Ethernet IP, DNP3, ODBC, etc.
· Understanding of Industrial Control Systems Cybersecurity
· Strong knowledge of Automobile processes
· Interface effectively with other staff on multi-disciplinary projects
· Generate RFIs with minimal review necessary.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
