Description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, shipping, and interstate relocation of inventory according to purchase orders, shipping schedules, and installation deadlines. Their duties include loading orders on/off trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock, establishing/maintaining an accurate inventory count, putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels, and often transporting merchandise to intra-state or interstate company locations.

Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities

Brighton, Missouri is the central hub to Country Home Elevator & Stairlift’s five locations around the Ozarks. As such, the Warehouse Associate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

· Collecting merchandise from inbound freight and safely transporting materials to one of four other company locations

· Skillfully and safely loading company trucks and trailers with merchandise for relocation.

· Transporting crated elevators and parts using company trucks and trailers to locations including Tulsa, St. Charles, Olathe, and Rogers, AR.

· Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery, return, or inventory.

· Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.

· Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notifying the supervisor.

· Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.

· Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.

· Assisting with train

· ing of newly employed workers.

· Frequently using company software to ensure accurate inventory and shipping practices

· Often using a 5k Forklift to assist loading, unloading, and storing merchandise

Warehouse Associate Required Skills and Experience

· Forklift experience or certification

· Able to regularly lift 80lbs

· Strong organizational tendencies

· CRM Software knowledge – preferred

· Driver’s License – While no CDL is required, potential candidate must possess a state-issued driver’s license and be capable of hauling equipment using a company vehicle with a trailer as long as 28’. Class E license

· Pallet jack & forklift experience

· Shipping/Receiving experience – 1 to 2 years, preferred

· Picking/Packing experience – 1 to 2 years, preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
