Position Summary:

We are seeking a professional warehouse associate who will be responsible for maintaining an organized, neat and efficient warehouse along with the entire warehouse team. This candidate will pick and pack orders for all three brands of Future Seating – X-Chair, Mavix and Healthy Back, as well as prepare orders for shipment, assist with quality control inspections, and ensure accurately and timely shipments.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Assist in maintaining receiving, shipping, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs as well as company operational policies and procedures for all three brands of Future Seating.
• Work closely with warehouse management to plan out warehouse space and moves depending on inbound freight and containers.
• Comply with warehouse, material handling, and shipping requirements; help enforce adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Work with management to safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Assist with coordinating outgoing/incoming LTL freight and truckload freight.
• Control inventory levels by assisting with inventory counts, cycle counts, annual physical inventory counts.
• Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts.
• Assist management with warehouse organizational directives including both inside and outside areas.
• Identify areas requiring efficiency or organizational improvements on a routine basis and communicate with warehouse management for implementation.

Qualifications, Skills and Education

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
• Standing and sitting forklift operating experience
• Knowledge of basic warehouse safety procedures
