Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
This list is not all encompassing and other duties may be assigned.
  • Performs all tasks in a safe manner and adheres to all safety policies/procedures.
  • Adheres to, and complies with, all General Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
  • Operates fork truck and yard mule in a safe manner
  • Receives all types of incoming materials, verifying against packing slip.
  • Completes shipper receipts in an accurate and timely manner
  • Performs inventory functions related to product/material movement
  • Sorts materials from production and/or truck carriers and moves to designated locations
  • Differentiates between the types of resins and regrind.
  • Operates scanning equipment while performing inventory transactions
  • Performs inventory cycle counts
  • Relocates trailers to and from loading docks and parking areas
  • Inspects and prepares trailers for shipment to customers per their specifications
  • Verifies trailer load before dispatching to customer
  • Accurately warehouse materials according to directives
  • Accurately weigh, label, and record material as required
  • Apply knowledge to improve the warehouse processes within set standards
  • Work with and through others to accomplish organizational goals
  • Communicate with trucking companies regarding load dispatching and destinations.
  • Maintains the warehouse and internal and external dock areas in a clean, organized manner, processing broken pallets, strapping, corrugate, barrels, trash, etc. as needed.
  • Maintains regular attendance and punctuality.

Education and/or Experience
High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred but not required. Computer skills desired but not required. Previous fork lift driving experience helpful.
Communication/Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents including, but not limited to, safety rules, policies, procedures, quality specifications, and written reports or correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in a standardized situation.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Ability to use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals .
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job the employee must be able to:
  • moving 90 pounds every once in a while with assistance.
  • stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, squat, and crouch.
  • climb stairs and ladders on an occasional basis.
  • pull non-powered pallet jacks while loaded with up to 800 lbs of material.
  • work on platforms up to six foot in height.
Employee must have vision abilities required by this job which include:
- close vision - peripheral vision
- distance vision - depth perception
- color vision - ability to adjust focus
Employee must have sufficient hearing to be aware of sirens and horns which alert people to danger. While performing this job, the employee must wear PPE, follow GMP's, be trained in knife safety.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job the employee will work in an environment with:
- above normal heat conditions - flashing lights
- noise levels exceeding 90 decibels - sirens and horns
- moving mechanical parts - light dust in the air
- powered moving equipment passing nearby - hazardous chemicals
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Employee must be able to work various hours and various shifts which may include overtime. The facility is a 24/7 operation which includes weekdays and weekends. Maintaining good attendance is required.
