Job Description:
Inventory Control Clerk/Warehouse (Los Angeles, California)
The Huntsman ADMAT Division is currently looking for a dynamic individual to work as an Inventory Control Clerk/Warehouse located in Los Angeles, CA. This position will report to the Logistics Manager.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States
As an Inventory Control Clerk/Warehouse, you will:
- Read and understand the open sales report for materials identified as “Made to Stock”
- Print and check all the sale orders for QC release
- Read and understand the reports for material shipping to different plants and distribution locations
- Prepare scrap list and perform necessary adjustments in SAP
- Dumping of material
- Store material in proper locations (warehouse, cold room, area 70 and warm room)
- Perform cycle counts and make adjustments as needed
- Ability to retrieve MSDS from the system
- Store incoming materials from vendors to Warehouse
- Learn how to read production schedule
- Applicant must be able to follow instructions precisely as written (in English) as well as verbally and adhere to all safety precautions requirements.
- Good housekeeping is essential along with motivation for high quality
- Use of a forklift and physical handling of drums is common
- The individual should be able to work independently as well as part of a team, following instructions and completing tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Lead Operator
- Must be accurate and precise
General Responsibilities:
- Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
- Assists other employees in accomplishment of Huntsman company goals
- Participates in and completes company-required training programs
- Participates in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives as set forth by the company
Required Qualifications:
- 2 – 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing facility
- High School diploma or equivalent, such as GED required
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance is required, potential usage of respirator
- One year of forklifting experience is preferred
