Batesville is looking for a CSC Warehouse Lead to join our team in La Mirada, CA. As a CSC Warehouse Lead responsible for leading the team to accomplish the daily warehouse duties. You will lead employees and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance to the Company policies, the Code of Ethical Business Conduct and applicable laws. Lead responsibilities include assisting with interviewing, training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

What you’ll do:

  • Run day to day CSC operation in the most efficient manner possible, leading the warehouse team in daily activities (i.e. load/unload trucks, perform and reconcile inventory, quality, and safety engagement).
  • Monitor and schedule maintenance of all RDC equipment (roll-loaders, dock equipment, etc.)
  • Effectively communicate with customers and support personnel to provide excellent service
  • Maintain current customer base by providing excellent customer service, including building synergy with local sales force
  • Ensure adherence to governmental (DOT, OSHA, etc.) regulations and company policies and procedures
  • Maintain high standards of safety, organization and inventory accuracy
  • Other duties may be assigned

Basic Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) minimum required.
  • At least 2 years warehouse experience in a lead capacity
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Great to Haves:

  • 5 years’ experience in logistics supervising
  • Ability to train/manage/lead/understand LEAN or CI principles and activities in a logistics environment
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to interpret data and create useful information
  • Ability to root cause analyze and apply appropriate countermeasures to correct anomalies
  • Basic leadership skills
  • Intermediate customer service skills
