Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations can occur seamlessly. The Procurement Manager serves as the go-between for management and the field staff. In this role, you will be responsible for all supplies, inventory, and procurement. You will also have oversight of the drill crews and work with them to ensure they have everything they need to provide the client with “An Exceptional Experience”. The operations superintendent reports directly to the Chief of Staff (CoS).

  • Bid package support
  • Gather any information need for project managers to properly bid on jobs. Including pricing and availability of job materials, rentals, and subcontractors.
  • Job Costing
  • Provide subcontractor and vendor invoices for job costing analysis
  • Operations Management
  • Provide oversight to field crews punch in/punch out. Direct crews to punch in and out according to requested times on Rig Sheets
  • Review Daily Crew and Equipment Schedule (punch in times, vehicles) and efficiency
  • Ensure employees have needed equipment, PPE, and paperwork in the morning and throughout the workday
  • Provide timely feedback via email to VP Operations on employee’s performance
  • Coordinate sonic and heavy equipment mobilizations
  • Ensure truck assignments are provided and abided by
  • Issue and assign tooling issue, as well as procure tools and small equipment
  • Job costing analysis: Provide recommendations monthly to the CoS on Job Costing efficiencies
  • Assist in the review of monthly charges by the field staff
  • Equipment & material sign out & tracking
  • Shop Orientation for new hires during their onboarding process
  • Vendor Management
  • Manage the companies approved vendor list including deactivating old vendors
  • Negotiate pricing with vendors on a monthly basis
  • Procure all job, shop, and auto products needed for the day-to-day operations
  • Purchase Order Management
  • Create all purchase orders with accurate information within 24 hours of ordering products
  • Send final purchase orders to vendors via email, mail, or fax
  • Gather packing slips and deliver to the procurement administrator within 24 hours of receiving products
  • Manage inventory
  • Rental Management/Subcontractor Management
  • Negotiate all company rentals/subcontractors
  • Track receiving and returning of all rentals
  • Update rental tracking
  • Approve all rental/subcontractor invoices
  • Track rental/subcontractor costs
  • Including confirming all rentals/subcontractors are billed on client invoice
  • CAPEX Support/Fleet assistance
  • Assist with locating and pricing vehicles and heavy equipment for purchase
  • Update vehicle listing as needed
  • CDL preferred (or willingness to get a class A)
  • Building Management
  • Address all building issues and work with management to rectify
  • Order building specific supplies
  • Ensure the tidiness of the warehouse and yard
  • Work with Management to utilize and direct employees to maintain the exterior and interior of the building and property
  • Bulk item and dumpster management
  • Pallet management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
