Purpose of Position:

The Shipping Administrative Associate will provide organizational support for the Shipping department and associated departments within the company as part of day-to-day operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Data entry into Warehouse Management Systems

· Conduct bill of lading research and filing

· Work closely with store-receiving managers

· File and track all outbound loads

· All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Strong knowledge of Excel and the RF Gun system

· Strong knowledge of the Cisco Phone System

· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must have good math skills

Education/Experience:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in receiving is preferred

• This position is considered active and involves walking or standing for long periods of time.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone, and stoop/kneel to handle computer and warehouse equipment

· The employee may be required to lift up to 50 pounds at any given time. The employee may be required to constantly lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity at 20 inches or less due to computer and RF device work
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will experience a loud noise level (i.e. business office with computers, phones, and printers, light traffic)
