About this Role:

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees and is accountable for the safe, efficient, and timely execution of daily warehouse and inventory functions at our Cicero manufacturing plant. This hands-on role is expected to lead, mentor, and guide a team of hourly warehouse associates. This means actively engaging, leading, and growing a front-line workforce each day.

While they are considered the process and product experts in their area, they also serve as Manager On Duty from time to time and will also be expected to learn the supervisory accountabilities of related functions within the manufacturing plant.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, manage and engage the Warehouse and Inventory team, including the front-line team
• Plan and allocate resources (people, equipment, tools) for Warehouse and Inventory execution
• Acts as a cross-functional partner and leader across the Farmer’s Fridge network
• Continuously improve processes and practices within Warehouse/Inventory

What are we looking for in a Warehouse Supervisor?

• 3-5 years of industry experience, including 2 years at a supervisor level
• Basic Google/Microsoft Suite Skills (Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentations) and ERP/WMS skills
• This role requires lifting up to 50LBS frequently, as well as carrying objects up to 25 LBS
• Knowledge of food safety and GMP standards is preferred.
• Effective Communicator: Can translate company goals into simple directives for front-line employees and connect frontline barriers to targets and effectively escalate to management
• Spanish competency and Forklift experience preferred
