POSITION SUMMARY

The Warranty Administrator supports the sales, parts and service departments to ensure we maximize the recovery of warranty dollars from our manufacturers and proactively works with these departments to ensure accurate claim information is captured for claim recovery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Submit warranty claims to product manufacturers.
• Follows warranty agreements and company policy to ensure claim legitimacy.
• Review all returned and/or rejected claims and prepare for immediate resubmission.
• Document and track claims through completion.
• Process warranty part returns.
• Analyze warranty reports when needed.
• Provide support to the service department as needed.
• Educate and train service department about warranty policies and procedures to maximize claim effectiveness.
• Travel to Holt locations.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS

• Effective oral and written communication skills with good command of English language with respect to grammar and vocabulary
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi task
• Self-motivated and proactive, detail oriented
• Mechanical knowledge and understanding of terminology.
• Analytical skills for reviewing data and determining root causes or trends.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and general public.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have a valid driver license and a clear DMV driving record.

COMPENSATION

Pay Range $26 - $30 Hourly

Pay Range Dependent on Knowledge, Skills, and Ability.
