BBSI is excited to be recruiting a Wax Maker for our aerospace manufacturing client in SE Portland. The Wax Maker is an important part of the manufacturing process and ensures quality wax is produced correctly for each department.

Every day the Wax Maker will ensure company success by performing job duties such as:

• Developing schedule for wax manufacturing to meet department demands
• Measuring wax ingredients and filling production vats
• Operating machinery and control equipment to produce waxes
• Maintaining necessary inventory of wax materials and maintenance supplies
• Partner with other personnel to facilitate wax deliveries to other facilities and departments

The Wax Maker uses equipment such as forklifts, electric and power tools, hoists, torches, scales, hoppers, and hand tools.

Training is provided on the job. We are seeking an individual with a passion for manufacturing who are looking to take their career to the next level at a reputable company with fantastic benefits. Specifically, we are looking for individuals with experience and skills like the following:

• Experience in processing batch compounds, working knowledge of wax molding processes, or a combination of similar experience and training
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow specific instructions, wax formulas, test forms, and Process Control Procedures
• Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Effective verbal and written communication
