General Position Scope:
Responsible for selling non-deposit investment products, investment management, 401K and trust services, as applicable, to current and prospective Wealth Management customers. Provide knowledgeable and professional investment and financial planning guidance to current and prospective Wealth Management customers. Maximize income to the Bank from the sale of non-deposit and trust investment services. The Wealth & Fiduciary Advisor is solely and independently fully functioning and is a 100% commissioned employee.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and solicit new business opportunities for the Bank in the investment area.

Establish a referral network within the branch structure to enhance number and quality of referrals.

Track referrals and sales performance on an ongoing basis to develop new and improved sales strategies.

Assist in developing a sales culture within the Bank.

Maintain a current working knowledge of all policies and procedures that pertain to mutual funds, annuities, insurance and all other types of accounts and plans such as IRA, qualified plans, financial planning, etc.

Cross-sell Bank products to customers.

Assist in budgeting and strategic planning for the department.

Maintains a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Completes required compliance training and adheres to the Bank’s standard of conduct.

Represent the Bank at community activities.

Develop and participate in seminars for customers and prospects.

Securities licenses are maintained by earning continuing education credits, if applicable.

Participates in the bank’s High-Performance Rewards Connections program.

Makes referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree

Five years of Trust experience, or investment sales

Securities License - Series 66 or Series 7, 65 and 63 as required

MS Insurance License – All Entities i.e. Life, Variable Contracts Accident and Health as required

General computer and typing experience with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel

Word, and Outlook

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Extensive reading as needed

Ability to make difficult decisions and handle multiple tasks
