Welder/Fabricator Requirements:
- Must have prior welding experience!
- Must have knowledge of welding equipment!
- Must have experience working on trailers
Welder/Fabricator Responsibilities:
- MIG Welder - welding material made of structural steel
- Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions
- Safely operate welding equipment and use safe work habits
- Layout, position, align and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly using straightedges, combination squares, calipers and rulers
- Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straight edges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications after welder job completion
- Operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade
