Come secure long-term employment with one of Minnesota's fastest-growing manufacturers! Twin City Staffing is hiring an experienced MIG / TIG welder in the Elk River area. This welder job offers state-of-the-art equipment plus overtime, room for growth, and a hiring bonus up to $5,000!

Wage: $21 – 26/hr.

• Up to $5,000 hiring bonus!

Hours: 6 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday (overtime is included)

Job description of the welder:

• Perform all assigned welding operations in a safe and responsible manner
• Properly and safely perform complex GMAW and GTAW welding on various types of metal
• Consider the type and gauge of material to be welded and adjusted for proper heat
• Place metal parts to be welded on fixtures, attaches jigs, clamps, etc., as needed to hold parts in proper position
• Read and understand blueprints and other work orders
• Ensure quality control of parts produced
• Complete and maintain paperwork for parts

Qualifications of the welder:

• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, sketches other production orders
• Maintain routine records
• Knowledge of trade tools, equipment, materials, and caliper, as well as, methods and techniques used in safe welding operations
• Mechanical capacity
• Mathematical skills

Education requirements of the welder:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical training or certification in welding preferred
• Experience as a welder or welding education
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a welder preferred
