Job Summary:

Wellness Attendants provide excellent fitness services in a professional, respectful and friendly manner to club members and their families at all times. Promote the use of the facilities to members and their families. Is responsible to know, observe and enforce the Club’s safety & security policies and guidelines. This individual will embody the Carolina Country Employee Mission and Absolutes.

Job Functions include:

• Conducts general administrative duties, cleaning, scheduling and provides operational information to the membership.
• Assists Wellness Director with supplies and orders according to business needs and club procedures.
• Monitors for possible waste or theft of supplies.
• Receives and handles complaints regarding the fitness department and communicates to the Director.
• Informs and follows through with the housekeeping and engineering departments about the problems or deficiencies as they arise; ensures that the fitness areas are clean and functioning properly.
• Inspects locker areas and manages locker room facilities.
• Plans all programs according to the monthly and yearly calendar.
• Completes appropriate assignments made by the Wellness Director and Assistant Directors.
• Performs miscellaneous office responsibilities.
• Completes required computer-based training in the required time frame.
• Uses Member Name Game and participates in contests as a learning tool.
• Is responsible for knowing CCC Employee Policies and working by the CCC Mission Statement.

• Have a passion and ability to responsibly work with people of all ages including children with safety and security as the most important dynamic.
• Must be flexible, enthusiastic, patient, friendly and understanding.
• Capable of lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
• Capable of standing and maneuvering independently and safely around work areas.
• Ability to see and hear, or to use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that job duties can be performed successfully.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• This person must be organized, efficient and detail-oriented. She/he must be able to work independently, taking initiative and prioritizing responsibilities.
• Must have the ability to get along well with others and demonstrate a high level of sensitivity and interest in people and children.
