urSwim is seeking a West Suffolk County Aquatic Manager to supervise various commercial locations in Suffolk county including day camps, beach clubs, commercial pools and HOA's to ensure safety and compliance protocols are being followed by staff members.

This position will require the candidate to complete multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professional standards. The candidate must be capable of building positive relationships with clientele and staff, providing top-notch customer service and ensuring the safety and well-being of people of all ages.

This position would require (or be willing to obtain) all current certifications: Certified Pool Operator, American Red Cross Lifeguard and First Aid Certification, American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certification, Driver's license and Lifeguard Management. Competitive compensation to commensurate with experience. Travel will be required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide high level customer service and ensure compliance to all company’s rules and regulations;
  • Regular communication with supervisors and general staff to ensure all shifts are covered and all protocols are being followed;
  • Ensure client satisfaction by responding to inquiries in a responsive manner;
  • Aid in training seasonal employees and new hired staff in line with company policies and procedures;
  • Organize review meetings with clients to improve performance;
  • Monitor staff activities and ensure compliance with company procedures and policies.
  • Regularly report on - site to all locations to check pool books, report cards, pool chemicals, etc.;
  • Provide on-site tests to all employees;
  • Coordinate with supervisors and directors to plan activities for higher productivity on the production site;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with directors and supervisors to resolve employee issues, concerns and grievances as per existing company policy;
  • Develop and implement ways to retain all employees through motivation and encouragement;
  • Aid in hiring, retaining or when necessary terminating employees;
  • Providing feedback on employee performance and counseling employees to improve;
  • Provide orientation to employees in terms of company values and culture to affiliate employees as per organizational requirement.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
