White Cell Project Coordinator

Primary Location: Ft. Belvoir, VA

Job Summary

The White Cell Project Coordinator provides day-to-day support and administration of designated vulnerability assessment programs, to include the safety, legal, and security aspects. The Project Coordinator Prepares correspondence, writes Program Plans, Final Draft Concept of Operations Plans, Operations Orders, Fragmentary Orders, Warning Orders, prepares Ground Rules, and identifies resource requirements. The Project Coordinator ensures all documentation is compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements and other administrative directives.

The Project Coordinator recommends improvements to work products and resolves technical work problems, by developing solutions that are innovative and precedent setting. Coordinates with customers: Federal, state and local government agencies, other external organizations, and higher authorities, for projects assigned.

The White Cell Project Coordinator assists the Project Lead in developing procedures consistent with the policies of the Red Team Branch regarding services required for program accomplishment. This includes developing program plans, project objectives, policies, and ground rules, identifying constraints, and coordinating activities. Generally, one White Cell Project Coordinator is assigned to each assessment program.

Specific Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks assigned to the Project Lead in their absence
• Develop safety net for assessment operations
• Coordinate partner agency takings as required
• Assist in the preparation of status reports on program activities for DTRA
• Maintain database for all assessment personnel
• Process travel documentation
• Be responsible for assessment program administration
• Review all Red Team deliverables for accuracy and format
• Develop program deliverables

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role commensurate with the position description and responsibilities
• Proficiency in understanding, analyzing, and summarizing comprehensive and complex technical and research information/data
• Excellent analytical, communications-both oral and written, and project management experience
• Degree (preferred), or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
