HR Class/Comp Office Aide

(Spring Semester 2023)

Provides Human Resources support and functions to all UW Employees, including faculty, staff, and non-benefited workers.

What type of clients are served in your department (education majors, all students, faculty, staff)?

All campus customers to include Faculty, Staff and Administration as well as customers outside the UW Community.

Pay rate or range:
$11/hr

JOB PURPOSE:
The position will assist in administrative support tasks for Classification/Compensation and other Human Resources units.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform office support tasks such as filing, making copies, making labels, scanning, data entry,

word processing, organizing, and assisting the HR

team with any related duties and/or special projects as assigned. Can work between the office hours of 8 am - 5 pm.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education

: High School Diploma or GED.

Business/HR majors preferred but not required

Experience

:

Proficient with computer use and office software (MS Office Suite, etc.), email communication and data entry

Other requirements:
Must be eligible, have received and accepted work-study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.
