Job Details:
Responsibilities
-
Auditing timecards and submitting corrections
-
Answering employees’ payroll and benefits inquiries/questions
-
Data entry: Payroll EIBS/ Inputs
-
OSV Case updates (direct deposit returns and garnishments)
-
Assist with miscellaneous payroll issues (VTO adjustments, pay group mapping, etc.)
-
Complete payroll compliance audits as needed
-
Generate payroll reports as needed
-
Complete Workday updates and projects as needed
-
Other duties as assigned
Skills & Abilities
-
Knowledge of payroll software and benefits systems; must have Workday experience
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-
Ability to take direction and also initiative
-
Excellent organizational and time management skills
-
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
-
Professionally handle sensitive and confidential information
-
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
-
Provide a high level of customer service to all employees
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
-
2+ years of prior payroll and benefits experience with Workday for payroll processing
-
Proficiency with payroll, benefits management and HRIS system
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including V-lookups and Pivot Tables
