Ready to join in? We are looking for a X-ray runner to be based at the outpatient clinic in Munster, IN. This is a great opportunity for an entry level candidate who is interested in healthcare. This role will help support the radiology department with administration tasks and transporting patients from the waiting room to the radiology department. This is full-time position Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive demeanor with patients, peers, supervisors, and physicians, especially when receiving feedback or direction.
• Maintains the highest level possible of customer service standards in patient care.
• Oversees patient tracking in the Electronic Medical Record.
• Escorts patient to and from waiting room and prepares them for x-ray.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
