Yard Job Description
- To take delivery of goods delivered with the use of forklifts where required. Ensure that goods are checked in an accurate and timely manner and check for damages and quantity. Take off stretch wrap and verify products against packing slip, sign it to confirm and put in purchasing agent Mailbox.
- Rotate Stock, Older products in front
- Verify All Tickets, do not load block customers without ticket
- Load Customers with correct material
- Assist Customers with materials
- Notify Block Office if we are low on a product
- Ensure checks to verify stock levels for re-ordering are accurate and appropriate
- Follow the weekly yard list (2-3 items per week)
- Keep yard and warehouse clean and organized
- Keep like materials all in same place, map yard and notify block office if changes
- Re-band, stretch wrap, cover products as needed and put away items that can be damaged by the elements as soon as they are delivered
- Keep “Special Orders” in one area and tag them. (waterproof tags in office)
- Communicate with Block office and Customer professionally
- Unload products in tool trailer, verify against packing slip
- Other such duties as may be required from time to time.
- Lifting requirement up to 100 LBS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $19.00 per hour
