Description:
YoungLives began in McKinney in 2019. There is an adult mentor team, teen moms involved, and existing connections at the high schools. We are looking for someone who can lead and disciple a team of adult mentors, love on teen moms, and continue connections already in place while also building a ministry in need of consistency!
Responsibilities:
- Disciple and share the gospel with teen moms.
- Disciple adult mentors.
- Team building.
- Grow community connections.
- Communicate the mission of YoungLives with excellence.
- Attend weekly staff meetings.
- Put on a monthly YoungLives club.
- Lead a monthly Campaigners.
- Attend monthly committee meetings.
- Lead mentor meetings.
Qualifications:
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- A heart for multiethnic ministry.
- Self-starter, high energy, innovative.
- Leadership skills that allow for collaboration with board members, the community and volunteers.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
