Youth Advocate, Prevention Services Job at Centre County Youth Service Bureau
- Assists with the development, implementation and maintenance of youth development programming in order to provide children, youth, and families with opportunities for drug and alcohol abuse education, prevention, and intervention, violence prevention and other interpersonal skill development.
- Transports youth to activities, field trips, and between centers and SOP sites.
- Assists with all aspects of the smooth running of the Bellefonte Youth Center and Mountaintop Youth Center.
· monitors safety throughout the center
· maintains daily schedule
· provides prevention programming
· provides recreational activities, including field trips
· provides other youth development activities including literacy improvement, interpersonal and life skills development, and community volunteering activities
· prepares snacks and meals
· maintains cleanliness of center and completes maintenance log as needed
