Job Summary:
Position is responsible for organizing and conducting basketball practice primarily working with Ages 6 - 8 year old's. Position assists with leading and /or assisting with conducting practices, motivating students, and instructing student athletes in our Skill Development program.
Experience with working with this age group preferred. Practice plans provided. Must assist with setup for practice as needed. Priority days needed are Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:15 pm - 6:30 pm for practice in Rancho Cucamonga.
Models sports-like behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards players, parents, and staff. Performs any other related duties as assigned by the Head Basketball Coach, Program Director or other appropriate administrator.

Prior Coaching Experience REQUIRED *No exceptions
Must be able to travel to local events two weekends per month *No exceptions
Must be able to attend practice twice per week in the evenings. *No exceptions

Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills. Must possess some knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
