Additional Job Description

The Patient Care Technician is a federally registered apprenticeship program with the Department of Labor. Successful candidates will receive a nationally recognized Journeyman certificate upon completion of the program.

Job Related Education Requirements:

The Apprentice is recommended to complete approximately 420 contact hours of related education for
each year of the Apprenticeship.
Courses may be taken during or outside regular working hours, upon the discretion of the employer and
coordinated with the Apprentice’s high school schedule.
