Would you like to impact local children by acting as a role model to help them achieve personal growth?
As a* Youth Program Staff*, you will help coordinate the expansion of school year programs and partnerships to support the success of students. If hired for this position, you will be directly supporting the T-Bird Achievement Center within the Franklin Pierce School District to oversee and and organize the delivery of afterschool programming.

Qualifications:*

• Commitment to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
• Associates Degree in job related field, such as education, social work, recreation is preferred.
• Two years or more of youth development program coordination and supervision experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and previous experience with diverse populations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bi-lingual preferred.
• Flexible and able to work with others in a wide variety of circumstances.
• Ability to problem-solve day-to-day program issues.
• Ability to communicate with diverse groups; maintain confidentiality; deal with changing priorities; work under frequent interruptions; and work as part of a team.
• Ability to facilitate group discussions, including conflict resolutions.
• Knowledge of skills needed for students to make healthy, successful progress academically, emotionally and socially.
• Knowledge and skills in program activities and related equipment set-up, and the ability to instruct participants in age appropriate techniques.
• Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.

Hours:* Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
