We are seeking qualified, compassionate caregivers to work with children with physical and or developmental disabilities and mental health conditions. Starting Wage: $18.00-$20.00/hr

Location(s): Stevens Point area

Hours: This position will start part time (about 20 hours per month) and total hours will depend on caregiver availability and additional client needs in the area.

Job Duties:

· As a Respite Worker you will provide children with quality care in the absence of their parent(s)/guardian(s).

· Actively engage with clients on goals and development and assist with daily living skills and behavioral interventions as needed.

· Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games.

· Read to children, and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs.

· Observe and monitor children's play activities.

· Care for children’s basic needs, such as bathing and feeding.

· Assist in preparing food and feeding.

· Client diagnoses may include but are not limited to autism, speech or developmental delays, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability.

Requirements:

• Experience providing care-giving services
• Excel at engaging children of all abilities in activity and play while incorporating developmentally appropriate goals.
• Must pass background check
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Must possess a reliable vehicle with insurance
• Must have reliable phone with voicemail
• Must have email access
• Must be compassionate
• Must be reliable & show up on time
