Do you like working with teens? Do you have experience in Marketing and Outreach? We are currently seeking a bi-lingual team member to connect with the Spanish speaking population of teens and parents throughout Prince George's County. If you join our team you will aide in year-round, part-time assignments. Candidates must be willing to participate in program activities, community outreach events, and effectively communicate with the public, supervisors, staff, youth and parents.The Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking Seasonal/Intermittent applicants to fill a position in our outreach/marketing field.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Promotes programs and events through social media, preparation of news releases, video production, brochures etc.Recruits, trains, supervises volunteers for Youth Services as assigned;Attends meetings of teen programs; civic organizations/councils, etc; to promote initiatives, programs and events;Responsible for internal promotion of programs, polices, processes, learning opportunities and other initiatives.Supports internal Youth Programs by attending and participating as an outreach representative.Performs other related duties and administrative duties as required or as directed by supervisor.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
This position is seasonal and does not include a benefits package. Salaries are based on experience. A complete background investigation will be conducted prior to hire.Person(s) hired for this position must provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (with limited religious or medical exceptions).
