Our client, a leader in the electronics and industrial automation industry, is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the Production Department supporting manufacturing and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Location: East Setauket, NY
Pay Range: $24/hr
Shift: Pending to confirm
Perform a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
Follow methods and sequences of operations for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
Set up and make adjustments while maintaining tolerances to blueprint specifications.
Collaborate with peers and customers to exchange or present technical and factual information.
Work independently on moderately complex assignments, using judgment to resolve issues and make recommendations.
Experience in electronic or electro-mechanical assembly.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Skills in soldering, wiring, and cable harnessing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship not available).
