Overview We are looking for a skilled GitHub Platform Administrator to join the team at accentedge . In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our GitHub environment, ensuring efficient version control practices and enhancing collaboration among our development teams. You will play a key role in maintaining repositories, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting any issues that arise within the platform. Responsibilities Manage and optimize the GitHub environment, maintain repositories, and enforce best practices for version control. Implement and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI). Collaborate with development teams to improve workflows and automation. Troubleshoot platform issues and provide timely resolutions. Enforce repository policies, access controls, and security practices as appropriate. Qualifications Experience: 3+ years in version control systems, especially Git and GitHub. Technical Skills: Proficient in GitHub administration, including repository management, branch policies, and workflows. CI/CD Knowledge: Experience with CI/CD; familiarity with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI. Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with Jira, Trello, and integration with GitHub. Scripting: Knowledge of Bash or Python to automate tasks. Problem-solving: Strong troubleshooting skills for GitHub-related issues. Communication: Clear written and verbal communication for diverse audiences. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with GitHub security practices and access control/compliance. Experience onboarding and training team members on Git/GitHub usage. Understanding of containerization and microservices as they relate to version control.
