Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35 to $50 Per Hour BOE

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and appliances.
• Connect circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications.
• Make recommendations to plan layouts, install, and repair wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and fuse boxes.
• Inspect wiring and fixtures for company specifications or local electrical codes.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments to ensure compliance with electrical codes.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of skilled electrical work on commercial and residential new builds.
• Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of electrical applications.
• Knowledge of methods and techniques of performing skilled electrical work.
• Experience with low voltage, pulling cable, troubleshooting, construction, conduit bending, and both commercial and residential construction.
• Familiarity with electrical installation, building codes, blueprints, and wiring.
• Reliable Transportation

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to talk or hear, sit, stand, bend, stoop, stretch, twist, use hands, and/or reach out for prolonged periods of time
• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles.
• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
• Must be able to work around wood dust and fumes
• Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises
• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be aware of OSHA safety standards

Pay Transparency: A reasonable estimate of the available hourly pay scale for this position is $27 to $40 Per Hour BOE. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on qualifications and other factors essential to the performance of duties and is determined by the hiring authority.
