Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P. is seeking a skilled individual for our Mobile App Developer position at our DTTP - Waller, TX location.The Senior Mobile App Developer will be responsible for creating clean and scalable mobile app software. Attention to detail is vital, along with a passion for creating high quality and beautiful mobile applications. This candidate must have experience working on react native code for both iOS and Android. About DTTP
Daikin Texas Technology Park- has a footprint of 4.23 million square feet under a single roof, and is the third largest factory in the United States. Opened in 2017 as the manufacturing, logistics, and engineering center for Daikin's American subsidiary Goodman, the plant makes heating and air conditioning products sold under the Goodman, Amana, and Daikin brands.

Responsibilities May include:
Work as part of a small team to build React Native iOS / Android applications
Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code
Implement pixel perfect UI's that match designs
Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience
Integrate third-party API's
Write unit and integration tests
Release applications to the Apple and Google Play stores
Work with native modules when required
Work as part of a small team, which will include other React Native developers, a project manager, QA professional, and a designer
Complete two-week sprints, and participate in sprint retrospectives and daily standups
Assist with building estimates
Work with modern tools including Jira, Slack, GitHub, Google Docs, etc.
Performs other tasks as assigned
Nature & Scope:

Qualifications Knowledge & Skills:
Experience working with Swift, Objective C, and Java a plus but not required
Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems
Ability to take extreme ownership over your work. Every day is a challenge to ensure you are performing to the expectations you and your team have agreed upon, both in regards to estimates and to the general process

Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications
Ability to work through new and difficult React Native issues and contribute to libraries as needed
An understanding of React Native best practices and a commitment to following them
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally.
Experience:
3+ years of professional experience working with React Native (apps).
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience working with Swift, Objective C, and Java a plus but not required.
5+ years of experience in a combination of the following: Developing modern JavaScript framework: React, Angular, Vue (or similar frameworks)
Application development, including services development in Java (or similar OO languages)
Data modeling and backend data stores, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or DynamoDB (or similar data stores)
Education:
BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
