The manager has decided they want someone local to Lake County to work a hybrid schedule, no remote candidates.

Position Title: Project Manager III

Length of Contract: 1 year

Must have Sharepoint design experience, large event planning/execution experience, science background

Looking for a Drug Discovery PM with Pharma exp

Marketing and Communications Support is nice to have

Familiarity with the drug discovery/development process and 2+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry

Exp interacting with senior leader with different parts of region

Support teams in discovery and drug development

• Experience with SharePoint
• Marketing and communication support role
• MS tools: PowerPoint, outlook and teams
• help in event planning and
• Work on Out of the box curative programs
• Work with stake holders and different teams
• PM skills and leadership skills
• Interact with scientist, PM , leaders (variety of different people)
• Someone with design expertise and a lot of creativity will be great
• Experience in website design and management

What are the top 3-5 skills, experience or education required for this position:

• Project management expertise, including meeting/event organization and execution, stakeholder management, collaboration and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating with senior leaders/executives and large, diverse audiences
• Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects with a high level of detail across multiple stakeholder groups
• Experience with Sharepoint/website design and management (Experience with Adobe Illustrator a plus)
• Familiarity with the drug discovery/development process and 2+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Required Education: Bachelor’s degree (PMP Certification is a plus
• Number of years of experience required: 5+ years’ experience

Responsibilities :

• Individual will be responsible for small and large team meeting planning, scheduling, facilitation and organization (virtual and in-person events, often for large and/or senior audiences), stakeholder management, collaboration with Business Services Group (BSG) for event planning and execution, vendor engagement, and logistical support.

Skills :

• Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience communicating with senior leaders.
• Project management and leadership skills are required. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Should have the ability to troubleshoot and work independently across a broad stakeholder audience including scientists, physicians, project managers, senior leaders and executives.

Marketing and Communications Support

Responsibilities :

• Candidate will be responsible for drafting key communications for Pathway to Cures initiatives, stakeholder management across various R&D and enterprise functions, sharepoint site design and management, slide creation and formatting, and collaboration with the client Business Services Group (BSG).

Skills :

• Candidate must have excellent communication and negotiation skills and must be proficient in website design and implementation.
• Ideal candidate will be at least moderately proficient with Adobe Illustrator or similar design software.
