Title : Social Media Manager Location : Santa Monica, CA (Hybrid/Onsite) Reports to: Head of Growth We’re looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager who can amplify Malbon’s voice across all platforms. You’ll be responsible for growing our online presence, fostering community engagement, and turning followers into brand advocates. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your creativity and strategic mindset to a fast-growing lifestyle brand. Responsibilities : Content Strategy & Creation: Develop and execute a multi-platform content calendar (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, etc.) that aligns with Malbon’s brand and business goals. Manage Multiple Accounts: Oversee social media for the main Malbon account, Malbon Women, and Buckets Club, while providing strategic guidance for international partners. Community Engagement: Cultivate relationships with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and tags while encouraging user-generated content. Brand Voice: Maintain a consistent tone and aesthetic that reflects Malbon’s identity and resonates with the golf lifestyle community. Analytics & Reporting: Track key metrics and analyze performance data to inform and refine strategy. Present insights to the leadership team regularly. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with design, marketing, and product teams to bring campaigns and partnerships to life on social media. Influencer Partnerships: Identify, engage, and manage collaborations with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand reach and drive engagement. Trends & Innovation: Stay ahead of platform updates, emerging trends, and best practices to ensure Malbon remains a leader in the social space. Skills & Experience Experience: 3-5 years of social media management experience, preferably with lifestyle, fashion, or sports brands. Creative Mindset: A keen eye for design and storytelling, with the ability to create or direct content that inspires and engages. Strategic Thinker: Ability to connect social media strategy to business objectives and think critically about the “why” behind campaigns. Tech-Savvy: Proficient with tools like Dash HUdson, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, Later, or similar scheduling/analytics tools. Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can pivot quickly based on feedback and market trends. Passion for Golf: An understanding and appreciation for the game of golf and the lifestyle surrounding it is a major plus.
