Job Description

The Tax Associate will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and guidance to clients, conducting tax planning sessions, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

Primary Duties:

• Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of tax-related matters, including income tax, estate tax, gift tax, and other tax planning strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive tax reviews and assessments for clients to identify opportunities for tax optimization and risk mitigation.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits for clients.
• Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate updates and implications to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building and maintaining strong relationships based on integrity, professionalism, and trust.
• Collaborate with other members of the tax advisory team to share knowledge, best practices, and insights to enhance client outcomes.
• Assist with tax-related projects and initiatives, providing expertise and support as needed to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Preference for CPA ready candidates.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax advisory, tax planning, or tax preparation roles.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
