We are a Thrift Store located in Waterbury, Connecticut we provide a donation pick up service. The job will entitle going to various Home/business addresses Mon-Fri and picking up Donations. Weekends will be days off. You start at 7:30 AM and finish once you have completed your route for the day and unloaded your truck and cleaned up. The starting Pay is $17.00/HR, you will be guaranteed 40 hours a week provide driver works all 5 days for a minimum of 5 1/2 hours per day and completes all assignments. Health Insurance will be included after your 90 days probation period, and a paid vacation after 1 year.
Requirements:
- Drivers must be able to communicate with donors and others. Not every donor will be present for the donation pickup but if so we want to be sure the donor is greeted and has a peace of mind their donations will be handled with care and greatly appreciated. Also must be able to read the notes donors sometimes leave for drivers.
- Driver should be physically fit to lift/bend/stack donations throughout the day, and also unload whatever they loaded onto the truck at the end of the day.
- Driver must be able know how to read a map and have general knowledge of how to use a GPS system that we provide.
- Good character, pleasant attitude and safety minded are a must.
