Job Description
Danfoss is looking for a Production Assembler to join our team. This position is in Dodge Center, MN and will work on first shift. This is a direct, full-time position that offers full benefits the day you start. In addition to competitive benefits, the company offers an hourly rate of $20/hour. This position is located at a customer site. Our main responsibility is to build hose assemblies for application on the assembly lines located at the plant. The main product produced at the plant is Refuse Trucks (Garbage). The team is made up of 5 Danfoss Employees led by a group leader.
Job Responsibilities
- Measure, Cut, Assemble, Crimp, & Package a variety of Hydraulic Hose Assemblies for OEM customer
- Converse and conduct oneself professionally with a variety of customer representatives throughout the day
- Provide timely delivery on all orders to customer.
- Always ensure you are putting your safety, and the safety of your co-workers first.
- Adhere to all quality, safety, and any other applicable company policies.
Background & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Production Associate positions require the incumbent to be able to learn complex operations quickly.
- Flexibility to meet business needs and customer delivery expectations are especially important for Production Associate II positions, and a willingness to move to different areas of the facility with minimal notice is required.
- Works efficiently with little supervision.
- Creates and maintains a clean and safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Meets and/or exceeds all quality standards.
- Proficient written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with excellent ability to deal with a changing environment.
- Must meet Danfoss's attendance expectations - our associates are at work, on time, every day. - Position is on 1st shift, 4 ten-hour days, Monday - Thursday 6 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Must be willing and able to work required and/or voluntary overtime.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for up to 8-12 hours per day, and deal with a manufacturing environment that could include heat, fumes and/or noise
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
