#2 Executive Assistant to CEO of Global Consulting Firm Job at BCL Search
Our client, a midtown based consulting firm, is looking to hire a #2 Executive Assistant to help support their CEO. The ideal candidate will be extremely discrete, maintain a very high level of confidentiality at all times, be proactive and extremely detail oriented. This role will be helping to support and reporting into the existing Senior Executive Assistant, as well as working closely and supporting their Chief of Staff. This person will be based in an office 5x a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide top notch Executive Assistant support to the Chief of Staff, the Senior Executive Assistant and the CEO
- Help schedule and maintain calendar and maintain contacts
- Liaise with Executive Assistant to ensure that Executive is always on schedule
- Liaise with philanthropies as needed
- Schedule meetings and appointments
- Help to arrange business & personal travel and process expense reports
- Gift buying, shopping and returns; track receipts
- General organization of day-to-day activities
- Ordering and picking up breakfasts and lunches
- Coordinate with car services
- Assist with event planning
- Research: ability to be resourceful and track down information/unique items
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of executive assistant experience
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Proactive, self-starter
- Very detailed oriented
- Good listener, takes direction well
