SCOOPER (EDMONDS)

This role is hourly, 20+ hours a week starting at $19.00 an hour.

molly moon’s scoopers are responsible for providing generous, joyful customer service, consistent scoops, and good vibes during every shift. They ring up customers, keep the shop clean, know our menu inside and out, make waffle products, change out tubs of ice cream all while working shoulder to shoulder with our entire shop team in a fast paced and bustling atmosphere. Qualities of a scooper:

• Exhibits a passion for community, an eye for detail, a willingness to clean (a lot), stamina (to serve people in long lines), and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Have great judgment, common sense, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain a positive, optimistic vibe and sustain and upbeat, high energy environment.

• Provide consistent, joyful service to every single customer
• Reliable, on time, and ready to hustle for every shift

Requirements:

• Prior experience in retail or client/customer service environment preferred
• Available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week including weekends and late nights (until midnight).
• The ability to work at least two closing weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) is a must.
• Be at least 16 years old by June 1st 2023
• No planned absences longer than 7days in a row, June 1st through August 31st.
• Willingness to pick up unscheduled shifts and work in other shops on occasion strongly preferred
• Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis and be comfortable doing repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to stand for long hours; shifts at molly moon's require standing for 5-8 hours at a time.
• Washington state food handler's permit required. This can be obtained after being hired but before your first day.
• This is a seasonal role with hours available between now and September.
