Cherokee Town & Country Club in Sandy Springs, GA is looking to hire a full-time Second Assistant Superintendent to help with the day-to-day operations of the golf course. Our Assistant in Training earns up to $17/hour and starts the workday at 6am. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SECOND ASSISTANT


As a Second Assistant, you arrive each day ready to learn and jump in where you are needed. You assist in all aspects of setting up the golf course. This includes landscaping duties such as spraying, fertilizing, and mowing turf. You also change cups, complete irrigation repairs, and assist management. You find great satisfaction in maintaining the beautiful landscaping of our golf course and advancing your skills.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Turfgrass management degree or similar
  • Ability to obtain GA pesticide license within 6 months of employment
