Dock Coordinator
Location: 10901 38th St Kenosha, WI 53144
Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 2nd shift 2 pm to 10 pm

A Dock Coordinator Manages the staging of the dock, including organization and prioritization of the freight. Directs others on work sequence. Unloads trucks using a forklift / pallet jack to stage product to be broken down. Sorts freight to be hauled to replenishment aisles within warehouse space.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for proper pallet staging on the dock.

Provides clear direction to Freight Handlers on workflow priorities.

Completes trailer inspection of incoming product.

Unloads multiple doors to ensure even flow of product on the dock.

Safely removes pallets of product from trailer.
-
Separates inbound freight and organizes the dock for efficient freight breakdown
-
Ensures that damaged product is properly accounted for and not received into the warehouse for sale inventory.

Efficiently sorts freight based on put-away location so that freight haulers can efficiently transport goods to designated locations.

Provides Freight Handlers with pallets that meet GFS specifications for breakdown.

Tracks accessorial fees that are uncovered while unloading trailers. Reports findings back to receiving clerks for proper charging.

Completes housekeeping activities on a daily basis.
