We are a Tier I/II Privately held Automotive Supplier in Southeastern Michigan established in 1996. (Niche) Plastic injection molding facility currently seeking to quickly fill available 2nd and 3rd shift Production Technician positions with our team.

FULL TIME DIRECT HIRE POSITIONS AVAILABLE.

Polymer Process Development is a plastic injection molding facility, and we are now hiring 2nd Shift Production Operators for our Shelby Township Location!

2nd Shift runs Monday - Thursday

10 hour shifts 3:00 PM - 1:00AM

Fridays are overtime if needed by company to meet demands.

Starting Rate: $ 15.25 hour

We are a direct hire and not a temp service!

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

After proper on the job training of PPD processes and systems, duties and responsibilities include using specific work instructions for each task, ensure parts produced meet the criteria. Reading/comprehension of step-by-step work instruction manuals. Priming, processing, trimming and assembly of encapsulated product. Packing finished product per customer needs.

Must have ability to:
-Follow all health and safety practices.
-Visually identify defective product in process.
-Maintain parts per hour standards for encapsulation and assembly process.
-Work with hands and be able to stand for 8-10 hours
-Be comfortable handling various primers, materials, chemicals (Ex. IPA, MEK, Glass cleaner), and hobby blades.

“Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is company provided”.

Requirements:

Plastic injection experience is not required by applicant but *Factory experience would be a plus* Valid driver's license required & means of transportation.

*Must be dependable and understand that responsible attendance is a requirement*
