We are seeking an Account Executive to join our growing team.


Here is a summary of the role:

This is a critical role that helps support the company’s client retention and growth initiatives. The experienced candidate will work closely with others to ensure that the client’s expectations are met (and preferably exceeded). This person will provide valuable client management support for different assigned projects. The candidate serves alongside the VP and Account Manager as a client liaison between the agency and the client, and partners with the subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop plans and strategic solutions that deliver against the identified goals.


With a winning combination of marketing expertise, business acumen, people skills and project management know-how, this person is critical to retaining existing relationships and driving ongoing growth.


What you will do:


  • Build and manage strong, effective working relationships with internal teams, clients, partners and vendors
  • Effectively gather and translate client business requirements, primarily for eCRM initiative (via SFMC) for all agency teams that work on the account – Strategy, Creative, Digital/Email, and Analytics
  • Utilize established Agency and Client process and project management tools to develop project timelines, maintain up-to-date documentation, communicate needs, and oversee the timely delivery of deliverables
  • Maintain a clear understanding of client’s business and marketing goals and ensure all deliverables are to objective
  • Have a keen attention to detail to assist with the delivery of flawless execution, this includes support of the QA and proofing teams to ensure all deliverables are sent without error
  • Manage the team’s workload and deliverables to ensure timelines are met, deliverables meet/exceed client expectations, and are within cost and quality parameters, etc
  • Develop proposals, presentations, slides, analyses and other client-facing deliverables
  • Assist in the maintenance of ongoing client deliverable documentations, includes, but is not limited to, client status documents, timelines, roadmaps, and quarterly/annual reviews
  • Communicate updates, progress reports, requests for information, etc. with the client in a proactive and timely manner
  • Schedule recurring and ad hoc meetings with client, and develops and distributes meeting agendas, recaps and next steps documentation
  • Identify and help to resolve team resource issues
  • Support innovation, continuous process improvement and optimization across all functional areas within the agency
  • Continually pursue opportunities to deepen the relationship with the client and increase trust
  • Play an integral role in the retention of existing clients and the development of expanded business opportunities and engagements


What you should have:


  • 2-4 years of experience in agency, marketing and/or client-facing roles
  • 4-year degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications or other relevant discipline
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (verbal and written) with a diverse profile of clients
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse teams both internally and client facing
  • Familiarity with the elements of digital marketing: eCRM, email development, SMS, SFMC, analytics, technology, U/X, creative, etc.
  • Relationship-oriented, authentic, positive, diplomatic
  • Possess a sense of curiosity, with demonstrated eagerness to learn new things and inquire as to why things are done a certain way
  • An attitude that approaches change pragmatically, positively and gracefully
  • Not hesitant to ask for help when needed and know when to escalate issues
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Detail-oriented and a big picture thinker
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, dynamic, deadline-driven work environment
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in Google Suite: Sheets, Docs, Slides
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel (intermediate+) and Microsoft Teams

The salary for this exempt-level position will be based on experience and qualifications within an established pay range. Benefits include 85% employer paid medical, eligibility to participate in vision and dental insurance as well company paid STD, LTD coverage plus a flat amount company paid toward Basic Life and AD&D, as well as a generous 401(k) retirement contribution plan eligible after 90-days of employment.


Working Conditions:

We operate as a work, not live, from anywhere model and utilize the office space as a co-working space as needed. That said, whether in the office or at a remote location, we try to operate in the traditional office norm model. You will be working with a computer, telephone, copier, or other office equipment as necessary for long stretches of time. There may be some occasional long, irregular hours. You are expected to communicate effectively (verbal and written), and maintain professionalism under stress. Occasionally you will need to bend, pull, push and/or reach to access job-related materials. You will also be expected to work with frequent interruptions such as Slack messages, emails, phone calls, drive-by visits to your desk, whether that is from a co-worker at the office or your dog barking while working remotely. You are required to attend all video conference calls on camera, as it is important to see facial expressions and reactions to enhance connection and collaboration.
