OPPORTUNITY: ENCON Evaporators, based in Hooksett, NH, is a manufacturer of evaporation systems for industrial wastewater and process applications. We offer an excellent opportunity for a talented and proven technical professional to join our Service Department as a team leader in this technical service & sales role.

The Account Manager (AM) position is a technical service & sales role for a professional with a “hunter” mentality, strong leadership skills, and a willingness to be communicating with customers by phone/email and in person. The AM must be an excellent communicator and comfortable selling & servicing industrial equipment B2B. This role requires proactive customer service and relationship development with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and to generate new capital equipment and service product sales opportunities. This position offers unlimited upside earning potential. Up to 50% travel may be necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Proactive Customer Service:

  • Schedule installation & start-up calls between customer and a service engineer
  • Proactive and ongoing follow-up after installation to ensure customer satisfaction

Account Management:

  • Be available as a primary point of contact for clients
  • Ensure client needs are being met by the service department
  • Maintain relationships with accounts to understand current and future needs and identify opportunities for parts sales, chemical sales, and new equipment sales
  • Performing site visits to develop relationships and close sales

Lead Generation/Prospecting:

  • Actively seek out referrals from current accounts
  • Leverage plant and corporate contacts of existing ENCON clients to generate leads at other facilities or for new equipment at existing client facilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in applicable engineering fields (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical) or Engineering Technology degrees are preferred. Other technical degrees or relevant experience will be considered.
  • Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills are required
  • Aptitude for technical sales with a proven track record of success in capital equipment, chemical, or wastewater treatment industries
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment and understanding of how these facilities are managed
  • Must be comfortable spending several hours per day on the phone making proactive calls to new and existing customers
  • Must have a sincere desire to learn, and an appreciation for high customer satisfaction
  • An ability to solve problems by starting with a broad concept or big picture followed by funneling down to more minute details when working with customers to find effective solutions to their problems.
  • Willingness to be rigorous with documentation of customer interactions is required.
  • Direct experience working with pumps, motors, VFD’s, PLC’s, control devices, and fluid handling systems is a strong plus. Working experience and an ability to interpret electrical schematics is a strong plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
