The Account Representative will undergo a comprehensive training program designed to enhance technical, sales, and account management abilities. Account Representatives will help maintain customer relationships through field support, trouble-shooting, value-delivery, and meeting customer expectations. This position will support our Deepwater team in the Oil and Gas Industry!



Responsibilities

  • Support customer base on a 14/14 rotation (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off)
  • Provide comprehensive mechanical, diagnostic & analytical service to provide excellent customer service
  • Performs maintenance overhauls and emergency services as needed
  • Investigates and resolves customer issues
  • Work with Account/Area Managers to execute sales strategy and generate sales growth
  • Represent Clariant to customers in a professional manner at all times
  • Identification, closing & acquiring new business in existing accounts, at agreed annual sales value
  • Develops and controls individual customers business plans in coordination with LBL Management
  • Maintain professional relationships with internal teams and with customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering preferred, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 3-5+ years of oil and gas industry progressive experience preferred, preference for oilfield chemical service
  • Knowledge of oil and gas chemical production
  • Must be able to travel 50% of time, able to obtain offshore qualifications
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to obtain all necessary clearances and certifications
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office
  • Strong problem solving ability with customers, personnel, operations, and chemical solutions
