Accountant Job at Hagadone Marine Group
Responsibilities
- Assist Controller with month end reconciliations, closing process, and financial statement preparation
- Assist Controller with creating management reports and other misc reporting as needed
- Verify coding on all invoices and receipts being processed by Accounting Clerk
- Work with Accounting Clerk on vendor statement reconciliation
- Participate in periodic inventory counts and reviews, including quarterly verification of inventory boats
- Work with all departments to make sure accounting standards and processes are being followed
- Backup for other members of the Accounting department members as needed, including AR and AP processes, Lake Coeur D’Alene Cruises reporting, and storage reports
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Accounting degree or 3-5 years related experience
- Working knowledge of financial statements and account reconciliations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including basic accounting skills, background check, credit report, etc
- Able to work an average of 40 hours per week
- Able to work overtime as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year

- GAAP: 1 year (Preferred)
