Accountant_NV Job at EA Team Inc.
We are looking for a knowledgeable Senior Accountant who will be responsible for providing accurate financial statements, completing timely month-end closings, maintaining Fixed Asset records, inventory costing, and forecasting and budgeting.
Responsibilities:
- Daily posting of cash against accounts receivable
- Conduct credit reviews for new customers and establish credit limits/terms within company policies
- Process bi-weekly payroll and prepare the monthly journal entries to record payroll
- Accounts payable backup as necessary
- Assist in maintaining a chart of accounts and financial statements
- Various month-end reporting: International sales/forecasting, AR-1, top customer/sales/orders
- Lead quarterly SOX testing
- Prepare and file NV and CA sales tax returns
- Maintain Avalara tax software
- Co-manage the physical inventory process with the operations manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accountancy
- 5-7 years of experience in financial and cost accounting
- Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Working knowledge of GAAP, intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Effective communication skills, customer orientation, and problem-solving.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $30.00 - $36.64 per hour
