M2 Management Group is currently seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. In this role, you will provide accounting support for all functions completed within the Accounting Department along with supporting administrative tasks as needed. Qualified candidates are expected to have a high-level working experience with all Microsoft Office applications focusing especially on Excel and Outlook. The ideal candidate must also be extremely detail oriented, a strong problem solver, eager to learn and contribute new ideas, and have a high level of understanding for the best accounting practices. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Account Maintenance, Reconciliation and Monthly Financial Reporting.

In this role as Accounting Clerk you will:

  • Learn all accounting functions and take ownership of assignments given
  • Handle delicate client matters
  • Collaborate with and/or lead special projects and tasks assigned by management
  • Develop and implement procedures to continually improve and streamline office processes
  • Be able to cross-train and have flexibility to assist with administrative tasks

Accounting Clerk - Requirements:

  • 2-years previous experience in a related field is preferred
  • Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem solver, multi-tasker, and efficient in completing tasks
  • Independent and eagerness to learn and excel
  • Customer service experience
