Jurgensen Companies is an innovative, large, growing, and diverse privately owned corporation located in Sharonville OH. Our organization is vertically integrated with a concentration in Manufacturing, Construction, Aggregates, and Liquid Terminals.
Will provide hands on experience within various divisions of accounting and you will be tasked with responsibilities within general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
Responsibilities:
General Accounting:
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of miscellaneous tax filings
- Download and sort material invoices from suppliers
- Code invoices to correct plant locations
- Assist with special projects as needed
Accounts payable:
Sort invoices by company and lookup vendor numbers
- Scan invoices into imaging software
- Match detail product and haul tickets to invoices and check for accuracy
- Assist with related special projects as needed
Payroll:
- Assist with filing local withholding returns
- Assist with the distribution of paychecks to employees
- Assist with the scanning of timesheets into the accounting system
- Assist with the printing and distribution of certified payrolls
Accounts receivable:
- Assist with the mailing of customer invoices and statements
- Assist with related special projects as needed
